1) Our Promise
We stand behind GENBASE™ products with a 2-year full warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.
No Returns Policy
Due to the nature of our products (purpose-built, heavy-duty stands that may be customized and/or drilled to order), we do not accept returns for change of mind, ordering mistake, sizing/compatibility errors, or used items.
This policy does not limit your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
2) What the 2-Year Full Warranty Covers
If a covered defect appears during the 2-year warranty period, we will, at our option, repair, replace (with the same or functionally equivalent product), or refund the purchase price for the affected item.
Covered issues include:
Manufacturing defects in welds, plates, framing, or hardware supplied.
Premature corrosion/failure of structural aluminum components under normal use
Missing or incorrect hardware shipped with the order
What’s not covered (typical exclusions):
Damage from improper installation, incorrect anchoring, insufficient foundation/substrate, or used not in accordance with local codes
Modification, drilling, cutting, or welding performed by anyone other than us (unless explicitly authorized in writing)
Cosmetic wear, surface marks from handling, or normal weathering that does not affect structural performance
Damage from accidents, misuse, negligence, vandalism, acts of God (e.g., flood beyond rated protection, tornado, hurricane, earthquake)
Third-party accessories not supplied by us.
Any labor costs (installation, removal, re-installation), site access costs, permits, or inspection fees
The warranty is transferable only if the product is not relocated from original purchaser address.
3) Freight & Delivery Issues (Inspect on Arrival)
Be present at delivery or nominate a representative.
Inspect before signing the packing slip: check for visible damage or missing items.
If damage is visible, note it on the packing slip/ carrier’s receipt (e.g., “top frame dented; leg scratched”), take photos, and contact us via email within 24 hours at [email protected]
For concealed damage found after delivery, notify us within 48 hours with photos and your order details.
Failure to note damage with the carrier may limit our ability to file a claim on your behalf.
4) Order Cancellations
Before fabrication/packing: You may request to cancel. If approved, a 5% processing fee may apply to cover payment and admin costs.
After fabrication/packing or once in transit: Orders cannot be cancelled.
Custom or made-to-order configurations (e.g., special drilling patterns) may move into fabrication shortly after payment.
5) How to Make a Warranty Claim
Email [email protected] with:
Order number (or proof of purchase) and purchase date
Your name, phone number, and installation address
Product model/description and clear photos/video of the issue (wide shot + close-ups)
A brief description of how/when the issue occurred
We’ll acknowledge your claim and may request additional details. If approved:
We may ship replacement parts, exchange the unit, or authorize a refund.
For exchanges/replacements, we cover outbound shipping within Canada; you are responsible for safely unbolting/packing the original unit unless we state otherwise in writing.
We are not responsible for site labor, crane, or equipment costs.
6) Refunds (When Issued)
Refunds (if authorized under Sections 2 or 3) are processed to the original payment method. Please allow your financial institution’s standard processing time after we issue the refund.
7) Purchases Through Dealers or Installers
If you purchased GENBASE™ through an authorized dealer/installer, please start your claim with them. We partner with our dealers to resolve valid warranty issues.
8) Safety, Code Compliance & Compatibility
It is the purchaser/installer’s responsibility to ensure:
The selected stand is compatible with the generator model and site conditions,
Installation complies with all applicable codes, permits, and engineering requirements (including wind, snow, and seismic loads), and
Anchoring/foundation (concrete or compacted aggregate) is adequate for the site.

9) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GENBASE™’ total liability for any claim relating to the product shall not exceed the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, loss of use, business interruption, or property damage) except where prohibited by law.
