We warrant our aluminum  stands (“Products”) to be free from manufacturing defects and failures due to normal weather exposure for two (2) years from the date of purchase by the original buyer.

What’s Covered
  • Materials & workmanship: welds, structural members, and plates when used as intended.

  • Weather exposure (normal): rain, snow, ice, UV, and typical Canadian seasonal conditions.

  • Load rating: Products are warranted up to 2,500 lb (1,134 kg) static load when installed and anchored according to GENBASE™ instructions and applicable codes.

What’s Not Covered (Exclusions)
  • Improper use or installation: misalignment, wrong anchors/fasteners, insufficient base prep, non-compliant substrates, or failure to follow local code/manufacturer instructions.

  • Overloading or point loads: loads exceeding 2,500 lb, equipment not fully supported on the top frame, or dynamic/impact loads.

  • Modifications or third-party alterations: drilling outside marked zones (unless using our “no-holes” tops for field drilling), cutting, welding, painting/coating by others.

  • Environmental extremes & external events: flooding, storm surge, debris impact, earthquakes, fire, chemical corrosion (e.g., de-icing salts, fertilizers, galvanic reactions), or other force majeure events.

  • Cosmetic wear: surface scratches, staining, or normal patina that doesn’t affect structural performance.

  • Consequential costs: labor, crane/lift, electrical work, permits, lost time, or lost use.

Misuse may void the warranty. If misuse is determined, we can still repair or refurbish the product; work will be quoted after inspection and performed upon approval.

Remedies

At our option, we will repair, replace, or refund the defective product’s purchase price (excluding installation and shipping), provided a valid claim is made within the warranty period.

Who’s Eligible
  • Original purchaser with proof of purchase (invoice/receipt).

  • Products installed in Canada (and approved regions if otherwise stated on your order).

How to Make a Claim
  1. Email us at [email protected] or call 1-844-444-2044 with:

    • Order number, purchase date, and product model/height

    • Photos of the product, installation, anchors/base, and the issue

    • Brief description of use conditions and when the issue started

  2. We’ll respond within 2–3 business days with next steps.

  3. If required, we may request a site inspection or return to our facility.

  4. Approved claims will receive a written resolution (repair/replacement/refund) and estimated timelines.

Installation & Use Requirements
  • Follow the GenBase install guide, local building/electrical codes, and the generator manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Ensure proper anchoring (concrete anchors or augers as specified), base preparation, and load distribution across the top frame.

  • Rooftop/wall-mount applications must meet structural requirements verified by a qualified professional.

Transferability

The warranty is transferable only if the product is not relocated from original purchaser address.
